Our Family in Christ

Our Community

Women from different backgrounds, answering the same call, united in the Spirit of Love.

Members of OLPAM

Three Ways of Belonging

Whether behind the cloister grille, on the move for God, or in the ordinary rhythm of family life, every member of OLPAM shares the same spirit of perpetual adoration and joyful service.

Contemplative Nuns

The Cloistered Sisters

These are the heart of the monastery. They live entirely within the sacred enclosure, devoting their days and nights to prayer, communal life, and the perpetual adoration of Jesus Christ in the Blessed Sacrament.

  • Obedience
  • Poverty
  • Chastity
  • Perpetual Adoration
  • Enclosure
Extern Nuns

The Extern Sisters

The extern sisters have a special vocation to live and serve within the monastery’s rules while also engaging with the wider world. They are a beautiful bridge between the life of prayer within and the needs of the community outside.

  • Obedience
  • Poverty
  • Chastity
  • Perpetual Adoration
Third Order

The Third Order

Men and women who live in the world with their families yet carry the spirit of OLPAM in their hearts. They receive initial formation, attend annual retreats at the monastery, and pray with their families as though praying in the cloister itself.

  • Open to all from age 18
  • No upper age limit
  • Annual retreats and formation
  • Family prayer as monastic prayer

The Sacred Journey

Formation Pathway

From the first shy enquiry to the solemn and joyful final profession, every step of formation at OLPAM is a deeper surrender to the love of God. Here is the path a woman walks when she feels called to this life.

1

Initial Enquiry

A conversation with the Vocation Directress by phone or email. There is no commitment at this stage, only listening and prayer.

2

Visit and Discernment

The candidate visits the monastery, prays, and experiences the rhythm of community life before making any decision.

3

Postulancy

She joins the community wearing the postulant habit, learning the life of prayer, work, and sisterhood from the inside.

4

Novitiate

Deeper formation through spiritual direction, study of the Rule, liturgical prayer, and apostolate training.

5

Temporary Vows

A first, joyful profession of temporary vows, renewed annually as she continues to grow in her calling.

6

Final Profession

The solemn, perpetual gift of self to God. A total yes, offered with an open heart and a grateful soul.
